Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a constantly changing landscape. Because of this, it is imperative that you keep current on the latest techniques to enhance and enrich your chiropractic website. With Hummingbird, Google’s latest change, there are several techniques that work better than others to improve rankings. Keeping that in mind, let’s take a look at three ways to improve you SEO, including Frequently Asked Questions pages, blogging, and the integration of social media pages.
Although there is no sure-fire way to figure out which techniques work the best (other than long term research), at ChiroMatrix we have seen a positive trend with the following techniques: FAQ pages, blog posts, and social media integration.
Due to the increased use of applications like SIRI, FAQs have become more important. Potential patients are asking complete questions of search engines, which then try to match page results to those questions. Therefore, if your website has a page with exact or similar phrasing of a question and a relevant answer for the question (such as “How do chiropractic adjustments address whiplash?”), then your website is more likely to appear in search engine results and earn a better overall ranking.
Blogs are still an important factor in SEO. Fresh, relevant content that is published on a weekly, bi-weekly, or even monthly basis for search engine ranking continues to be highly important in overall optimization. Moreover, if blogs relate to a recent FAQ page or are written as an FAQ blog, you will see an improvement in rankings as well.
If you have not climbed on the social media train, you need to do so right away. Why does social media matter? It’s not going away and the trend is only up, so stop dragging your feet. Social media has shown to be effective in driving website traffic, and perhaps more importantly, Google has increased the weight of having both Google+ and Google Business platforms connected to a business. If you are looking to improve your SEO, you need to integrate your social media into your website sooner rather than later.
There is no one formula for Google since it makes sure to keep digital marketers on their toes. However, from time to time we do get glimpses into the mind of Google that allows us to boost the relevance of our clients’ websites in search engines. FAQs, blogs, and social media integration are great ways to ensure your chiropractic practice is on par or ahead of your competition.
